100 camp musicians to perform at Festival Mémoire et Racines

On Friday, July 27, at 6:30 pm at Parc Bosco in Saint-Charles Borromée, Festival Mémoire et Racines will be taken over by the violins, guitars and pianos of the 100 musicians of the 11th edition of Camp Violon Trad Québec.

This opening performance of the festival celebrates with great pomp the musical heritage acquired by the musicians during their five days of training at the camp. The show will also feature founder Stéphanie Lépine and guess teachers Nicolas Pellerin, Stéphane Tellier, Davî Simard, Martine Billette et Éric Favreau. Violin Trad Quebec is proud to present a show where our traditional music is in the spotlight, but above all a musical experience out of the ordinary! It’s an event not to be missed!

This 11th edition is made possible thanks to the support and the collaboration of several partners: Plein Air Lanaudia, Lanaudière Mémoire et Racines, Culture Lanaudière, Desjardins du Nord de Lanaudière, Héroux-Lépine luthiers, des Député(e)s Lanaudois de l’Opposition officielle: André Villeneuve (Berthier), Véronique Hivon (Joliette) et Nicolas Marceau (Rousseau), du Réseau Québec Folklore, de la Fédération Culturelle de l’Île-du-Prince-Édouard et du Cégep régionale de Lanaudière à Joliette.

Stay tuned for the Festival
